Yes, except that now when I add the file k3b pops up a dialog
complaining, e.g.

The following filenames have an invalid encoding. You may fix this with the 
convmv tool:
/mm1/music/house & trance & techno & eurocheese/Vincent De Moor - Between Two 
Fires (Armin van Buuren??s Rising Star Mix).mp3

This is better - at least I'm not making a coaster - but I still
consider this a bug, as k3b should be able to handle unicode input. In
some software I'm working on right now I wrote some code to "down-
convert" unicode characters to latin; if you'd like, I can contribute
the algorithm.
