Mozaic, unfortunately i have to have this working and the ppa with the 3.6 version is broken for me so i had to try the libreoffice official release 3.6.4.3 which opens the document just fine so i cannot put any more effort into this. The failing word .doc file is 19.6 M if that helps any, it is unfortunately confidential info so i cannot add it as example.
