Public bug reported: A fresh install of Gwibber on Kubuntu fails to connect to supported services (Facebook, Twitter in my case). It complains about getting error code 1 from gwibber-service.
Attempting to start gwibber-service directly results in an ImportError due to a missing Python package: $ gwibber-service Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/gwibber-service", line 55, in <module> from gwibber.microblog.util.log import setup_logging File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gwibber/microblog/util/__init__.py", line 1, in <module> import re, cgi, httplib2 ImportError: No module named httplib2 Installing 'python-httplib2' manually fixes the problem. Thus it should probably be a dependency (or a dependency of a dependency, etc.) of gwibber.
