No. I read about it earlier in this or some other thread. It was a
problem for someone. If you want to follow up on that one, you can try
following back on this thread. I think it was mentioned not that long
ago. If I remember correctly, there was a "hack" to work around at least
one of the devices' problems with the USB suspend problem. If the
general problem is fixed it would most likely remedy that person's
problem and others who are not able to do the hack.

It was interesting to see that Red Hat is concerned enough about the
problem to do something rather quickly. I'm still here, though,
patiently waiting for a fix or the next release. If Gutsy doesn't
address the problem, I'll look into switching distros, possibly to
another Debian based one so I don't waste a lot of the time I've
invested in this one. I can wait until then, booting to XP when I need
the scanner, then grabbing the file from the XP drive when in Linux to
do things with it.
