Trying to connect a 2nd hdd with this PATA-SATA bridge (SPiF223A). Hdd can be mounted and unmounted. All tests/bench on this hdd work. System recognizes disk and smart says it's ok. But when trying to read /write data from/to it system freezes completely within 10 seconds. No problem with same configuration under windows XP. Reopened this isue because looks the same problem; Ubuntu 10.04 Kernel 2.6.32-45-generic.
