Running multimedia ubuntu 12.10 with all "automatic" fixes applied on a
newer toshia laptop. The symptoms I see are as follows:

- I can access network from home network and maintain connection using my cisco
based wireless router.
- When accessing network from other wireless network routers, it connects to
the network and will work for a few seconds (or minutes) and then the browser
begin to show "waiting for", "looking up...", etc. and eventually gives up
with such messages as "cannot find" or "cannot access...". The wireless
network icon still shows connection - showing 3 bar signal.
- When Ithis happens, I can usually click on the wireless network icon,
disconnect, then connect to the same network and press "try again" on the
browser. Connection again stays up for seconds to minutes.
- After a few disconnect/reconnect iterations, it seems that reconnection does
not work. After rebooting, I can reconnect - but again, the same symptoms.
- One of these other wireless connection uses a DLINK router - probably older
version.
- I have not experenced this problem when I boot up with Windows 7.
- I can provide other information if requested.
