Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Users are not able to use evolution with a cyrus pop mail server using
digest-md5 authentication.
When using DIGEST-MD5 authentication with a POP server, evolution sends a
digest-uri in the form "pop3/host".
According to
<http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-siemborski-rfc1734bis-11.txt>: 'The
service name specified by this protocol's profile of SASL is "pop".'
I know it's still a draft, but some servers like cyrus check this and
authentication fails if something different than "pop" is used.
