When walking through the libraries one by one I discovered in the

sudo ldd /usr/sbin/gpartedbin

libgtkmm-2.4.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgtkmm-2.4.so.1 (0x00007fe91af34000)
libgdkmm-2.4.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgdkmm-2.4.so.1 (0x00007fe91aaa6000)
libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
(0x00007fe91a240000)
...
 libgtk-3.so.0 => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgtk-3.so.0 (0x00007fe9173b7000)
 libgdk-3.so.0 => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgdk-3.so.0 (0x00007fe917138000)

are these the GTK2 and GTK3 libraries directly linked?
