I'd really love to help but the problem happened just once. I use this
headset on a daily basis and the kernel panic only happened this one
time. I'm not sure how I can make conclusive tests if it's something
that happens only once in a while.

Also I don't want to mess with my kernel on my main machine because I
need it for work. I could try in a virtual machine though but again,
would those tests be of any interest?

I hope Sergio can give us more consistent answers than I can.
