He talks about changing the order of the processes, well I've changed
the name from /etc/xdg/autostart/nm-applet.desktop to /etc/xdg/autostart
/znm-applet.desktop and it did the trick for me.

My machine were not populating the menu every time I boot, at this
moment I've rebooted 5 times and the menu was populated 5/5 times.
