I can connect with networkmanager with ipw3945 on my private WPA-PSK secured network with the following steps reliably:
- try to connect, NM will try a bit but ask me then for a key - press cancel on that dialogue - retry connecting - (quickly) turn off the hardware rf-kill switch - after about one sec, turn on rf-kill switch - NM connects to network successfully. I haven't really figured out why I have to do these steps, but without them, I cannot connect to my home lan either. -- [Gutsy]Network Manager Applet can't connect wireless with ipw3945 driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121439 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
