I wasn't able to run Unity in 3.8.0-030800rc4-generic_3.8.0-030800rc4.201301172335 because of issues with the nouveau driver, therefore I was unable to try to reproduce the bug. However I will not mark 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream' yet because I will try to reproduce it in another machine (with an Intel graphics card).
