Public bug reported: Since the installation of Ubuntu 12.04 apport-kde reports no bugs anymore. I get notifications about crashed applications and am asked whether I want to send a bugreport (a checkbox next to the cancel/restart buttons). But when I check that box and continue, nothing happens.
I have the idea that this is related to the following error message in apport.log: ERROR: apport (pid 21624) Sat Jan 19 01:15:45 2013: called for pid 20116, signal 5 ERROR: apport (pid 21624) Sat Jan 19 01:15:45 2013: executable: /usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-gabble (command line "/usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-gabble") ERROR: apport (pid 21624) Sat Jan 19 01:15:45 2013: gdbus call failed, cannot determine running session: [Errno 2] No such file or directory ERROR: apport (pid 21624) Sat Jan 19 01:15:45 2013: this executable already crashed 2 times, ignoring ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: apport-kde 2.0.1-0ubuntu17.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-36.57-generic 3.2.35 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-36-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu17.1 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Jan 19 15:14:00 2013 InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release i386 (20120423) MarkForUpload: True PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: TERM=screen PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: apport UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: apport (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1102000 Title: apport-kde sends no bugreports -- gdbus call failed, cannot determine running session: [Errno 2] No such file or directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apport/+bug/1102000/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
