Hello,
Since I installed upstart KDE does not notify me when I insert a CD,
which is not that nice :)
Though the deamon seems to be running from what I can see in system
settings.
(Also no verbose is bad IMHO, but that is another topic).
I'm up to date on edgy kubuntu
