I'd like to confirm that psensor 0.6.2.16 is running on my system Kubuntu 12.04.1 LTS, Precise Pangolin every time I log in - unwanted.
Although I like the functionality I'd like to have an option to disable from running automatic. I can close the psensor just fine but every time I log in it is there again, even though it is not in a list of automatic scripts or programs. What is really annoying - if I set to reopen my last session and leave psensor running before loging out, psensors is running twice later on when I log in back. If I set to open clean session on log in there is psensor running again. I checked all possible location of autostart but there is nothing there ( ~/.config/autostart, ~/ .kde/Autostart. ~/.kde/share/autostart) ** Description changed: 1. I expected psensor not to be running immediately after log in. I also did not expect psensor to require extra steps to kill. 4. The psensor app is running after logging in after the intial boot process. The psensor then requires Task Manager >Kill or Terminal Kill to stop the psensor app. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: psensor 0.6.2.16-1ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-23.36-generic 3.2.14 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-23-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu5 Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Apr 22 17:48:15 2012 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Lubuntu 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" - Beta i386 (20120417) ProcEnviron: - TERM=xterm - SHELL=/bin/bash - PATH=(custom, no user) - LANG=en_US.UTF-8 + TERM=xterm + SHELL=/bin/bash + PATH=(custom, no user) + LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SourcePackage: psensor UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/987036 Title: Psensor is running when first logging in To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/psensor/+bug/987036/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
