I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm still an Ubuntu newbie. I did
get Ubuntu installed so if I run that command, it won't try to reinstall over
my existing installation, will it? If it will just give you some needed debug
information, I can do that when I get home. I just don't want to break the
installation I have.

To answer your other question, at first I typed "Nick" into the username
box, and it complained about the capital letter. I then changed it to
"nick" and that worked OK. I was attempting to migrate data from an XP
Pro account called "Nick". Some of the data was migrated and some data
wasn't.

Let me know what that 'ubiquity -d' command will do, and I'll run it if
it won't break my existing Ubuntu installation.

Thanks,
Nick
