I am trying to install nvidia_current in a fresh install, and I get this issue.
I followed this guide:
http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/ubuntu-quetzal-nvidia.html
I got this error when I came to the "modprobe nvidia_current" step.

This is the history of commands I ran before I got this error:
    4 sudo apt-get install build-essential linux-source linux-headers-`uname
-r`
    5 sudo apt-get install nvidia-current
    6 sudo /sbin/lsmod | grep nvidia
    7 sudo depmod -a
    8 sudo /sbin/lsmod | grep nvidia
    9 modprobe nvidia_current
   10 sudo modprobe nvidia_current

Before this sequence of commands all I did on this install was to update
all packages.

This bug is keeping me from using 12.10 instead of Window$ (I want to
play games) :(
