Christopher, I didn't make a BIOS update because I don't want to brick the laptop, because I listened that there are many problems with the UEFI enabled laptops and the bios. Maybe after the bios upgrade I can't boot to Win8 or Ubuntu. Is there a safe way to do that? Or I think that the bios update will not fix the problem cause It's a kernel issue
