Hi Mario, thanks for the report. Could you please try and provide a more detailed set of steps you use to reproduce the problem? Also, if the crash occurred while capturing or reading a capture file, attaching that file is often helpful.
Finally, be aware that the version of Wireshark that is in the repositories for 12.04 is rather out of date unfortunately. There's a good chance that a more recent Wireshark version has already fixed this particular bug. If you can verify that this is the case then you may want to apply for a Stable Release Update [1] so that the fixed version ends up in Ubuntu.
