I installed Ubuntu 12.04 (daily built image) on a Dell Vostro 3460 (bcm
43142 + ar 8161). Wi-Fi worked, but ethernet did not. Then I installed
ar8161 driver from source
(http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/networking/alx).
Now ethernet works, but Wi-Fi does not!

It seems that driver packages for these two devices conflict.

sudo modprobe wl
