blank screen with 13.2 beta for me, but the problem is now elsewhere.

... this is with Intel driver for 12.10 from x-swat ppa (
"2:2.19.0-0ubuntu1~xup1" ) which should be fairly similar to original
IMHO? From the error message it looks the drivers communicate well, but
there's some firmware problem, I should probably ask AMD first what's
this about.

BTW, I was installing the beta driver trough creating distribution packages,
then installing the resulting .deb files.
Then after running "sudo aticonfig --initial" I got these errors, maybe
somebody experienced enough can tell me if it's ok:

Uninitialised file found, configuring.
PowerXpress info: Diagnostic output from /usr/lib/fglrx/switchlibglx:
update-alternatives: warning: forcing reinstallation of alternative
/usr/lib/fglrx/ld.so.conf because link group x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf is
/broken
update-alternatives: warning: not replacing
//usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/xorg/extra-modules with a link

Thanks for any info, I hope the 13.04 will work out of box with my
notebook. :)
