Public bug reported:

Ran update of over 100 packages and computer restarted. There was an icon on
the panel which had the message 'Install drivers'. I clicked it and it
displayed the 'Available Drivers' window.
There was a driver available for my wireless device and I clicked activate
because I had not yet got my laptop to work wirelessly.
The application almost finished downloading and installing the driver but
failed with a small window displaying - System Error: installArchives() Failed.
This was followed by another window with the message - Sorry, the package
"bcmwl-kernel-source 5.60.48.36+bdcom-0ubuntu3" failed to install or upgrade.
I am now reporting this...
