Well, this is interesting. I just installed FreeBSD on a spare machine, and it can mount colossus.wauckanet:/data/chump/Movies just fine. Oddly enough, it complains if I tell it to use NFSv4, so apparently the server isn't actually using NFSv4, even though I thought it was. Unfortunately, it still fails on other Ubuntu machines, even if I use -t nfs instead of -t nfs4.
Even more bizarrely, my Ubuntu Server 12.10 machine can mount an NFS export from the FreeBSD box, but my Kubuntu 12.10 laptop can't. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1105121 Title: Can't mount NFS shares To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1105121/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
