Public bug reported: ubuntu sound system didn't work correctly wireless headphones
same bug is in 12.04, 11.10 I have wireless (bluetooths) headphones (Genius HS-905BT), at first time at pairing device everything goes well but at next run, it didn't work correctly example step1) - pair your bluetooths headphones with ubuntu - change output to headphones (sound will play from headphones, ok) - try change volume (in ubuntu), it will work fine step2) - turn off your headphones, ubuntu detect turn off and change output to default (analog stereo) (- if your ubuntu didn't change output to analog stereo do it self) step3) - turn on your headphones, ubuntu detect turn on and change output to headphones (sound will play from phones) (- if your ubuntu didn't change automaticaly output to your headphones, do it self and go to step 2) (ubuntu usually need to do it 3 times, than do it automatically) (- if you ubuntu changed output to head phones, sound will playing from headphones) BUT DIDN'T CHANGE OUTPUT SETTINGS, SO YOU WILL SEE SETTING AS IS IN ENCLOSURE (ubuntu shows that output is going to analog stereo, that's mistake) KNOW TRY ADD OR LESS VOLUME, and ubuntu will change volume for analog stereo, not for active output headphones !!! so you are not able to change volume in headphones ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: alsa-base 1.0.25+dfsg-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-37.58-generic 3.2.35 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-37-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.24.
