I believe I know the source of this problem. I've also filed a bug against "nvidia-settings" as the problem is likely related to another problem with "nvidia-settings"
see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia- settings/+bug/1116588 gnome-control-center's "Wacom Graphics Tablet" settings seem to rely on the nvidia drivers' notion of the screen layout which is incorrect causing incorrect "map to monitor" behavior. You can see the conflict in the attached screenshot comparing nvidia- settings notion to the system's display configuration tool. ** Attachment added: "example of display layout notion conflict" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1003913/+attachment/3516259/+files/nvidia-rotation_problem_with_system_tool.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003913 Title: Wacom Graphics Tablet "Map To Monitor" setting doesn't work with Twinview To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1003913/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
