I've found another way to roll-back to kernel 3.2.0-37:

Start terminal

Type sudo apt-get remove 3.2.0-38-Generic

Press Enter
(at some point during file removal it might ask again for confirming file 
delete - press Y)

Type sudo update-grub

It's funny how it seems no one is thouroughly testing the new kernels
before release...
