Even when successfully installed xserver-xorg-lts-quantal (e.g. by default within fresh install from ubuntu 12.04.2 media) if trying to install the packages googleearth-package and probably adobereader-deu wine steam and much more will REMOVE the quantal xserver and the old one from precise gets installed :-(
