System will not boot without 'acpi=off' as the parameter. - UPDATE: Adding 'acpi_backlight=vendor dell_laptop.backlight=0' instead - of 'acpi=noirq' as the parameter also fixes (or works around) the issue + WORKAROUND: Adding 'acpi_backlight=vendor dell_laptop.backlight=0' + instead of 'acpi=noirq' as the parameter works.
