In comment 19 I said that this was fixed by an _upgrade_ from 10.04LTS to 12.04LTS. It was _not_ fixed by an update of 10.04LTS and the bug is still existing in 10.04LTS.
On https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/ you can read what Invalid means: * This status should be used when the bug report does not contain adequate information to determine whether or not it is a bug even if it is resolved for the reporter * This should also be used if the reported problem is not a bug at all, but for example user error * It should be used conservatively as bugs marked as Invalid no longer show up in default searches * Be sure to triple-check a bug before you invalidate it After reading this, I really don't understand why this bug is a candidate for being invalid and marking it invalid makes it disappear from default searches (according to the above) meaning that other users with the same problem will not be able to find it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066496 Title: fit-pc2 on Ubuntu 10.04 hangs/freezes after high network load To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1066496/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
