Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty with lasts dist-upgrades. Linux version
2.6.20-16-386.
Always that I login into the OS I need configure the network and the
screen resolution, if I reboot the system, all changes are lost.
Steps:
1) Turn on the computer
2) Login into my account
3) Start > System configuration > Network config > Admin mode > I change the
default gateway from ath0 to eth0 > Save the changes and close the system
config > All working
4) Start > System configuration > Screen and Monitor > I change the resolution
to 1680x1050 > Save the changes and close the system config > All working
5) I reboot the computer and login into my account
6) Always I need to repeat the 3 and 4 steps. Why?
In all previous Ubuntu versions all the made changes were kept.
