Confirming bug with Lenovo Ideapad N581 with AR8161 running Kubuntu 12.04 with just-released kernel 3.5.0-24 (lts-quantal).
I only tested once, and only hibernation (S4), but had already seen this bug (before updating kernel), so I kind of expected it. When trying to hibernate for a second time (using KDE 4.10) it just went to the lock screen. Unfortunately I haven't had time to debug this (yet).
