Public bug reported: There are the man pages interfaces(5), vlan-interfaces(5), bridge-utils- interfaces(5) and maybe others (that's what I get fron a `ls /usr/share/man/man5/*interfaces*` on my system). But there's no ifenslave-interfaces(5) describing the bond-* options.
The only canonical documentation seem to be the ifupdown scripts and the examples and Google. This should be fixed :) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: ifenslave-2.6 1.1.0-19ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-38.61-generic 3.2.37 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-38-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu17.1 Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Feb 21 12:43:48 2013 InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release amd64 (20111011) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ifenslave-2.6 UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-04-29 (297 days ago) ** Affects: ifenslave-2.6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1131172 Title: ifenslave needs a man(5) page describing the /etc/network/interfaces options To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ifenslave-2.6/+bug/1131172/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
