Please note that if you are experiencing the same bug as with Samsung
firmware it is not safe to run Windows in UEFI mode either until the
firmware has been fixed. Matthew Garrett has demonstrated that the
bricking can be triggered on a purely Windows system, from userspace,
without linux ever being used. Thus he recommends not booting any OS via
