Same problem here (suspend to ram broken since linux-image 2.6.22-8, with ATI driver fglrx 8.37.6, everything from the official gutsy repository). Suspend worked flawlessly with 2.6.22-7. This is on a MacBook Pro Core2Duo from november 2006.
