Thanks for the bug report > I understand the purpose of that patch is to hide the concept of IBus from user.
Not really, the purpose of the patch is to have a description for the entry in the dash (or in menus) that users can understand. It's the same reason gedit is called "text editor" and not "gedit" or that eog is called "image viewer" and not "eog" ... users want a real world description Adding a design component to the bug, that needs input from there ** Changed in: ibus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Also affects: ayatana-design Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1133101 Title: 02_title_update.dpatch makes little sense To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/1133101/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
