Following [#20] I installed linux-image-3.8.0-030800-generic. Report so far: - 3.5.0.17-generic (original in the CD) --> working - 3.5.0.25-generic (current distribuited version) ---> screen flickering, workaround screen to be closed and reopened - 3.8.0-030800-generic --> X server crash after "ubuntu with the dots" logo, user is sent back to the command line
