I did that, and tried e-Fax GTK, got: Socket running on port 9900 efax-0.9a: 20:54:11 opened /dev/ttyS4 AND Sorry, Ubuntu has experienced an internal error... etc. (Is there a way to get a log of that report - lots of info in there, but all Greek to me...?) Still says "Sending Fax" until I click stop. No dialing, no rings at the other end.
