Same problem here.. Precise with default precise kernel (3.2.0.x): Start at default level, Fn+brightness not working Precise with linux-generic-lts-quantal (3.5.0.x): Start at black screen on lightdm (pre-lightdm screens appears), Fn+brightness do work
The keys Fn+brightness work even on bios settings, I don't understand the reason of this bug...
