Hi Seif, I have the problem as well (on Ubuntu 12.04). Only two points though:
0. The memory consumption comes from zeitgeist-fts rather than zeitgeist-daemon as a couple of guys here signaled 1. I never used Ubuntu One (no need), so I don't know if this can be an useful information 2. What ppa are you talking about? I'm eager to solve this issue as soon as possible!
