Here is a simple fix: Open a terminal and execute this command: rm -rf ~/.local/share/zeitgeist
This will delete the database that zeigeist-fst has made so far. Then you must(*) restart your PC and it will use 4.9 MB :) If you don't, the dash search will return wrong results.
