Thanks for testing, Toby. So one way around this bug would be to run the LTS backport kernel on 12.04.
However, I'd also like to see if this bug is already resolved in the latest upstream v3.2 stable kernel. Can folks affected by this bug test the following kernel: v3.2.40: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.2.40-precise/ If the bug still exists in 3.2.40, we can then perform a reverse bisect to identify the commit that fixes this bug in the 3.5 kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1018547 Title: Kernel panics when connected to wifi To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1018547/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
