I guess the issue is that ErrorList 2.0 and above require jedit 5.0 or greater, while Ubuntu ships 5.0pre1. However, SideKick should not be updated to a version requiring an ErrorList version that is not installable. So the issue seems to be partly on jedit’s side (not smart enough plugin depedency resolution during plugin updates), and partly on Ubuntu’s side (shipping a pre-version).
Installing the 5.0 deb package from jedit.org fixes this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1152606 Title: SideKick / ErrorListPlugin version mismatch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jedit/+bug/1152606/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
