I guess the issue is that ErrorList 2.0 and above require jedit 5.0 or
greater, while Ubuntu ships 5.0pre1. However, SideKick should not be
updated to a version requiring an ErrorList version that is not
installable. So the issue seems to be partly on jedit’s side (not smart
enough plugin depedency resolution during plugin updates), and partly on
Ubuntu’s side (shipping a pre-version).

Installing the 5.0 deb package from jedit.org fixes this issue.
