I have the same problem with an Acer V5-531. After installing ubuntu 12.04.2 I had to manually install "shim-signed grub-efi-amd64-signed linux-signed-image-generic" and do "sudo grub-install /dev/sda --uefi-secure-boot". I'm able to boot ubuntu either with or without secure boot enabled, but Windows 8 boots only with secure boot disabled, otherways I have this error: /EndEntire file path: /ACPI(a0341d0,0)/PCI(2,1f)/UnknownMessaging(12) /HD(2,c880,96000,4cb097d41345de45,a6,f8)/File(\efi\Microsoft\Boot)/File(bootmgfw.efi)/EndEntire error: cannot load image
