Proposed workaround works, indeed I don't think this is the "Watermark"
bug at all. Besides, the origin of this bug is described here:
http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Amd_watermark  and gives much easier
solution.


P.S. Still, the key error persists:
# update-initramfs -u

So I think this particular bug should be marked as related to (or merged
with) the #1073062 bug. Moreover, it affects NVIDIA, AMD adapters and
proprietary driver for Broadcom Wi-Fi.
