Hi,

I reinstalled a SUN X4100 using 6.06.1 without RAID enabled.
Afterwards I installed your kernel 
http://people.ubuntu.com/~kyle/support/mptsas/linux-image-2.6.15-28-server_2.6.15-28.56_i386.deb
 which is working without RAID (mirror) enabled.

As soon as I enable HW RAID the system loads the kernel, gets stuck for
several minutes and then stating that ther is no /dev/sda1 and falling
back into busybox
