*** This bug is a security vulnerability *** Public security bug reported:
The ability to log in as a guest is unsuitable in many environments, but it is enabled by default. There is no easy, discoverable way of disabling this feature. After sifting through obsolete how-tos, users of 13.04 find they need to drop to a terminal and edit /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf, adding 'allow- guest=false'.
