Don know if it's the same bug, but I've got the same device and experience a similar issue. If I disconnect the Soundgraph VFD(15c2:0036) all is fine(minus unable to use IR and display) Once I connect it, it behaves as if the up-arrow is pressed and get this when using debug:

This bug also exists on latest 3.8.2 from mainline intended for raring.
