Public bug reported:

tested with firefox 19.0.2 on both ubuntu 10.04 and 12.04

When the preferences -> Privacy ->History is set to "Remember history" I
can right-click on an image on a website, then left-click on 'Copy
image', and then paste this image into other programs.

However, when the History is set to 'Never remember history' a right-
click on a picture still offers the option 'Copy image' - it is NOT
greyed out -, I can click on it, but there is nothing captured which I
can paste somewhere! (Or what can be pasted had been copied previously).

It does not seem to make sense to prevent such copying, because the
image can still be saved to a file (and if it was intended, then the
menu option should have been greyed out)

Note: I know the package installed is just plain 'firefox' , but the
site does not allow me to enter this, as there are "Too many matches.
Please try to narrow your search." Well, how? (Sorry, but this messy
package selector somehow resulted in 'geany' as package)

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Package changed: geany (Ubuntu) => firefox (Ubuntu)

** Description changed:
