Public bug reported: Not sure when this started but recently when I plug in my headphones the sound output becomes garbled but only for movie players (vlc / dragon). Sound is OK for amarok but switches to mono (pavucontrol appears to think it is stereo but the sound output is mono (yes the headphones are stereo!)).
This definitely worked previously (kubuntu 12.04) and i think, but cannot be sure, that the problem started after recent updates. ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amarok kubuntu phonon pulseaudio vlc -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1157465 Title: headphone output garbled for movie players (more...)
