Can someone please test if this problem also exists when using PCManFM? I'm having similar problems on Debian Wheezy/Xfce when copying large files via davfs to my webserver. Even if I do the copy with cp in terminal, Thunar is not responding until file transfer is finished. PCManFM does not suffer from this problem.
